I don’t think people understand the depths of the depravity and destruction the left actively plans all the time. All day. Every day.
what you fail to grasp is that the people you want to keep in power haven’t lifted a finger to stop them, and never will
quote:who do you think will lead that charge? Vance? Rubio?
Republicans suck and need to be completely revamped
do you really think they will turn the GOP into a dynamic conservative entity, hellbent on turning back the tide of evil, depraved democrats? if so, why haven’t they started “revamping” by now?
i’ll stand by my “lazy, reductionist take” as opposed to your delusional wishcasting
this is the country we live in now, and there’s no “white hat patriots” that will ride to its rescue

Austin hasn’t even reported yet
This will be an absolute bloodbath
Glad to see Dan Patrick out

We are going to have Medicare for all, open borders and who knows what else. We are going down the road to become like France.

The only silver lining in all of this is that the GOP will finally realize that they’ll have to move on from MAGA and Trump if they want to stay relevant.
So the GOP that bent over and let the Democrats take charge of everything until Trump came around?
We would have had two terms of Hillarys with her SC picks. But yeah, the GOP.

Two things can be true. Most Republicans probably would have lost by a few points but Paxton is an embarrassment and uniquely awful candidate and is turning this into a rout

The same demographics in Texas voted for Trump overwhelmingly in 2024 are now voting for Talarico.
Its the President. He threw away a reliable Senate seat in Corryn by endorsing Paxton against the wishes of the GOP. Now Democrats have won their first statewide race since the 80s in Texas.
Now he's dragging down Abbot.
Why do this?

We need to capitulate to the DSA now! The presidency of AOC and VP Muzzie will be glorious!

People need stop with the bad candidate talking point
We are losing Texas because the electorate is not the same as what it was 20 years ago. Abbott is losing too
Trump won Texas in a blowout 2 years ago. Not 20. He won on making things affordable, ending woke, stopping illegal immigration, and no more foreign wars. He did 2 out of the 4 things and fricked up the other 2 with a totally unnecessary and unsuccesful war. Meanwhile, the GOP Congress did frick and all.
On top of that Paxton is indeed a terrible, hold your nose candidate. If it's Abbott and Cornyn, maybe Texas goes like Florida did. But Paxton made red voters stay home and got blue voters even more amped up.
This is about bad policies, and a bad candidate, not "Texas has been going blue for 20 years".

He’s right, they’re all on the same team. If you’re afraid of democrats running the country, surprise, they already are. Because they’re the same as republicans. It’s all fake and elections are nothing but theater. Why else would midterms ALWAYS go this way? It’s set up, has been for the past hundred years. Both parties get just enough power so that nothing ever gets done and we’ll be right back here in two years watching the same horse race again.
There’s certainly something to the appearance of this. But there is actually a lot more going on than this sensationalist overstatement captures.
Are Vance, Rubio, and DeSantis interchangeable with AOC, Lance Bottoms, and Talarico?
The system is broken for sure. But to say it doesn’t matter which candidates win is absurd.
You think Kamala’s tax policy and judicial appointments, for example, are meh not much different from Trump’s? Immigration?
We were on the precipice of losing the electorate to invaders. Now we’re going right back to the edge.
