We tried but Feds kept blocking everything with lawsuits. Feds dismantled river barriers, etc... States did not have the right to send illegals back anywhere, that was always the FEDs. We did speed it up though... chartered a bunch of buses and shipped them to NY. That's what turned the tide on immigration.

I'd call that verification of hostile intent. Put up barriers with signs that say 'if you go past this point, you will be shot' and then shoot them if they cross. They've proven they will use violence to enter. Deadly force is now mandatory, unfortunately.

That's because there are no countries in latin/central America where there's not enough food to go around for everyone. These people are not asylum seekers.
