Are you really wowing the fact that 22 pistols make great plinking and camp guns? If so, you may be slightly retarded.

Never mind, I see you own a keltec rifle...you are indeed a retard.

What sounds more advatageous to winning this outcome?

You're kidding, right? Surely you're not really advocating the 22 Mag over the 9mm as a defensive round, are you?? In addition to the ballistic disadvantages of the 22 Mag as a defensive round, I'll also point out that anyone who's shot many rimfire rounds knows that misfires are VERY common.

And to answer your original question, IF i had to go to a gun fight, I want to be armed w/ the most effective defensive round I can shoot well. I'll take fewer rounds of a 9mm every day of the week over a larger number of rounds in 22 Mag.

C'mon. Why does anyone ever get a gun then?
We get them for the "what if?" and my what if, is what if I need to intimidate.

That's the brand. Kel-tech. I think. Looks similar to that, what I had in mind. It was only $250 used at Shooter's Club years back, and I bought a Glock 22 used instead.

I'll never understand why people buy .22 pistols.

Target practice. I have a Beretta rimfire for that reason. Though come to think of it, I haven't shot it in eight years.

3 pages and no Kel-Tec Sub-2000 or Beretta Cx4 Storm mentions?

For shame people.

Seriously, I've never heard a bad thing about the Sub-2000. Very light, easy to conceal, and has a unique folding mechanism.

After hearing these stories of people getting carjacked by 3-4 people at once, I'm thinking about keeping a fold up carbine under my seat. For those times when I need to shoot thirty rounds or so.

What is it like to be this scared of the world?

I said the chances were slim, not non-existent. I keep a gun in my truck just for that slim chance. I don't think you need anything more than that. If you just want something more to ease your mind I would go with a SBR AR15, Sig MPX, or Tavor.

I have a gun rack in my F150 that mounts between the Crew CAB doors. Requires no drilling(link below). I keep an Armalite AR15 locked and loaded with a Eotech on it. I can get it out the rack in less than 10 seconds. That is my backup to my M&P compact. I keep 3 loaded M&P mags and 3 loaded AR mags in my truck.

Why not get a semi-auto MAC-10 like the MPA10? I also have a .30 cal carbine pistol that would do the trick. An AR-15 pistol or AK would serve you well but the high powered round might be a bit much.

That AR won't fire with the stock collapsed.
