Caught an 8ft hammerhead off the beach close to St Andrews state park in PCB. Idk how much it weighed but it was a big un. I've been fishing offshore all my life but that's the biggest fish I've ever caught. Drunk and sitting on the beach

I believe it off of St Andrews. That dredged out canal lined by the 2 massive jetties pulls in some huge deepwater fish. I mean to them, it's all the same. And that hammerhead just follows the fish.

You can catch some fish in there you have to travel a few miles out miles out to catch normally.

Sadly my only day there was spent watching the current push all of our baits into the rocks because the wind so fierce.

I can confirm said fish. Was on the boat with stuntman and helped pull it in. Wish we still had that camera to see the pics. Had a big barracuda that day too.

I caught a 250# blue shark in Montauk. Also caught a 45# Striped Bass that same trip.

Freshwater= 8 lb Bass

Salt water= I’ve hooked some large sharks (6 footers) and have cut the line once they have gotten next to the boat. Largest fish I have landed in the boat was probably a 50lb Yellow Tuna.

Next time I’m at my camp I’ll try to remember to take a pic. Back then, if you would measure, weigh, and release it, they would pay for a replica. Caught her in 19ft of water on a black/blue jig on the last day of January 96’. Remember it like it was yesterday. Caught a 10.15 that following summer close to that same spot. Even though it’s not near as good as it used to be, I miss fishing that lake.

A sailfish. No idea of the weight, but they aren't small.

Only pic I could find was of my first small mouth over 5 lbs. This one was 5.4 caught in 92 or 93 and unfortunately is still my biggest smallie. My hoisting skills were severely lacking in those days.

I caught a 37lb redfish on a 200 Series Bandit crankbait one time. Have caught a few tuna and Amberjack in the 40lb-60lb range. Never weighed them.
