Look for anything on the north end.

You reach the point you follow blenders and factories and not hype. Doing this avoids most mistakes that can also be expensive.

Good smoke. Have you tried Jaime Garcia Reserve Especial? If not, great budget smoke from My Father that punches well above its weight.
Small point. None of the $300B is US Government monies.
I think a lot of this is possible. I've been watching closely, mostly for purposes of trading. Several things I've noticed. The supposedly leaked MOU is in fact not accurate. What appears to be accurate is today's CNN reporting about the actual agreement. It will be made public on Friday in any event.

There has been some reported tension inside the IRGC, up to and including some posted videos of weapons being fired. We'll see where that goes.

What is true is one side is convinced this has been a failure, and the other side the opposite. Neither side seems willing to open themselves up to other potential outcomes. Not the most objective and critical thinking. But a target rich environment for short term trades on oil, volatility and today's Fed. announcement.

Higher end would be:

Guillermo Pena GP Cigars Connecticut (not that expensive)

Davidoff, Kelner, Alex Glez, Ferio Tego, etc.

I'm largely a Nicaraguan, bolder cigar smoker, but there are some very good Connies out there that have flavor.

The Kelner 80th Limited Edition when it is 30% off is a must have.

All the above cigar brands should be explored by serious cigar smokers. You have to hunt a bit to find some of these. They're not always more expensive either. Most are more expensive though.

What's a good cigar? A cigar you like. Period.

What's a good price? Very subjective.

Brandon @ Mr. Bundles has Lampert at 30% off with code Lampert30.

I priced five packs of 1675 Azul & 1675 Morado Maduro.

Total is $91.00, free shipping and since he is smaller, no sales tax.

If you haven't tried Lampert this is a pretty decent deal. The 1675 Morado is one of the best and most underrated maduros out there.
The question once again is when to average up in BTC.

I like the Master Blend III. Which oddly enough doesn’t need a bunch of age. It punches well above its weight and price, which sometimes gets down to $3.00 -$4.00 a stick on CP.

The other Oliva I smoke rarely is the Cameroon wrapper. Call it a cheap Fuente knock off.

Some other cigars at lower price points.

Rocky Patel gets a lot of grief. Probably justified. Their Emerald and ALR II are really good for the price. The Emerald is lower priced than the ALR, and actually made some top ten lists last year. Emerald used a bit of Honduran tobacco, so a bit of sweetness. ALR is MSA and Nicaraguan. A more nuanced flavor for this type of blend, but still very good.

Alec Bradley releases a cigar called Fine and Rare. I would have never guessed I’d ever recommend an Alec Bradley given what I smoke most often which are very boutique cigars. This cigar’s latest version uses 10 different tobaccos.

Today I smoked a Stolen Thrones Crook of the Crown. 10 year aged MSA, made by Rojas factory. $8.50 for a Robusto. A banger boutique for not much money.

So many great cigars out there right now.

You guys that live in Louisiana are fortunate. One of the places I use to purchase boutique cigars in LA Cigar Collective located at 3807 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001.

If you have not tried Alex Glez (AG), Apostate, Definition, Ohana Nui, etc., it's a good place that you can try singles.

They carry some stuff that is outstanding, and while not impossible to find, very difficult to find.

Yeah, you start to follow blenders and factories. And you start to follow who they distribute through.

I use the high percentage off, no restrictions on higher end stuff.

To me saving 25% off of a daily smoke isn’t as big of a deal as saving 25% off a La Sirena Super Sea Monkey, Padron 50th, Kelner 80th LE, etc.

Not to say some retailer’s exclusives aren’t buried treasures for cheap. They certainly are. But to get started one must first do a minimum of research about who the blender and factories are.

It opens up an entirely new world of cigars, and helps prevent chasing every new limited edition that might not be worth chasing.

I have probably 2000 cigars stored and aging. It gets expensive, but again, some research and asking a couple of trusted sources keeps it from being even more expensive.

There are some incredibly expensive and incredibly inexpensive good cigars out there. There are also some incredibly expensive and inexpensive bad cigars out there.

eta, newer cigar smokers don’t realize that we live in the golden age of cigars. You can’t hardly go wrong with cigars between $8.00 - $16.00. It wasn’t this way when I started.
Don’t hold your breath. It’s being reported he’ll be allowed to voluntarily surrender later this week.
I’m just holding and strategically acquiring. Assuming everyone else is also. The volatility trade ended for me a long time ago due to the way I did it. The other gentleman that posts on here takes a more long term and conservative approach. So assuming he is keeping on.
Yeah. The news stories are using notational value to sensationalize. The realized gains aren’t that large. Especially the trade where WTI futures were sold.
What I remember from Desert Storm is they all smelled funky.

Someone needed to post this.

There could be some fine Muslims, but they need to change their diets, exercise, shower multiple times daily and wear antiperspirants and deodorants.

I hated that fricking music they played.
