Still hunting - .270 big doe

Dogs - 12g #4 buckshot little doe. I don't like shooting deer that small, but you gotta stop the race so they don't get off our property.

My 9 year old son killed 2 does, a spike, and 9 pointer with an Armalite AR-15 shooting a 62 grain federal fusion.

All of the rest were shot with a .25-06 Remington 700 Cor-Lokt 120 grain
-Daughter shot a 9 pointer
-wife shot a 10 pointer
-I shot an Axis doe and an 8 pointer.

.270 Winchester
.270 Winchester
.270 Winchester
And so on.

3 deer and 2 Javelina. All stoned where they stood (I’m a neck man)

Possibly my best shot of the season though was taking a gobbler at 110 yards in the neck with a .22 Magnum. I was as surprised as I’m sure he was.
