is getting frickin ridiculous.

This low inventory has these bastards playing their position like kings of old. And I hate dealing with the bastages anyway on a good day.

(But DAMN I want one of the new 3.0 diesel Silverado's in a bad way)

Have driven two now and they are the whole enchilada in my book...good power, great mpg and towing torque in abundance. I' won't be towing anything heavier than a 20' bass boat so should be childs play for that 3.0/10-sp combo

Did I mention how much I friggin hate dealing with the stealership bastages?

From everything I’m reading, if you’re trading in, you’ll get a killer deal.

Sit back and wait a few months, let supply catch up and they will get eager to sell them again

Not the truck, but I have been looking to get the wife a new highlander. In January I was offered $18K for our current highlander in trade.

I just ordered a highlander (actually supposed to built today), and got $26K for my trade.

I did the KBB on my truck, 2016 F150 5.0 4x4 with 28K miles, and it's range was $36-39K. I paid $37.5K when I bought it

If Toyota had deals on Tundra's I would trade it too.

I’m waiting on my 21 RST Z71 4x4 to come in. Putting the trail boss kit with an added level on 35s for around 50k

Satin steel color ain’t as easy to come by as you’d think though.

My original post was sarcasm. Your story is the only one I’ve seen where someone may actually be getting a better deal now.

Do you have a trade in?
I just traded my 2018 Sierra that I bought new in 2019 and they almost gave me as much as I paid for it new.
But they were very hesitant to come down on the new one.

My truck has 30k miles on it and I have an offer in hand for 5k more than I paid for it. Salesmen don't even call you back if you even try to hardball them a count hair. Its a strange world right now and I don't like it.

I'm waiting on my 05 Z71 with 195k to give up the ghost then I will be wanting a new truck but I don't think I need one. I have a 19 Tundra and a 16 Chevrolet Duramax High Country with only 35k miles.
