These damn dealers need to start ordering halfton crew cabs with full size beds
The problem is that they probably can’t get them. I have a friend that owns a dealership and he can’t get his hand on any trucks right now.

But the purchasing portion of the trade-in is where you get fricked

If Toyota had deals on Tundra's I would trade it too.
V8 Tundra's being phased out. Very few left on lots. New Tundra gets V6 only, some with turbo.

If you want a diesel Silverado with power, torque and great fuel mileage, get an LML Duramax and tune and delete it.

The only way a car salesman is manageable is when they are hungry. Times like this they're unbearable.
Told a guy I wasn't coming in till I knew what the deal looked like. Said he'll have that truck sold to me or somebody else today and can't help me if I dont come in. I feel for those who NEED a new truck right now.

Go price a used 2016-2020 F150, Sierra or Silverado 4*4 and get back to us. You’re gonna be shocked. My dealer wanted me to trade my 2020 Sierra in in a new AT4. They were going to give me 45K in the trade. I paid 45K for it in Dec if 2019. They wouldn’t budge on the List price of the AT4. I live my Sierra and have it setup just how I want so said no.

Pretty sure I blew a turbo on my 2011 eco boost. Taking it in next week. Due to the car prices right now I’m prolly just gonna fix the turbo and wait and see if this settles out somewhat in the future.
But I don’t think it’s going to settle down. If people are still buying new trucks then they have no reason to come down on the prices.

I'm anxiously awaiting for the release of the new Nissan Frontier. They haven't said anything about pricing, just some online speculation. It will be my 4th Frontier in a row. KBB on my current 2011 is around 12k, which kind of surprised me. It only has 60k miles and is in perfect condition, but I'm afraid of the pricing that the new one will release with. The one in the reveal photos is apparently "$55k as pictured" which is absolutely laughably insane to me.

I was shopping around for a 2500 Ram recently. They wouldn't come off the listed online price and they low balled me on my truck (2016 f150 5.0). I told them to keep it.

Don't know if he was BSing me, but this week I bought a car at Lakeside Toyota in Metairie, and the salesman told me that Tundras, Tacomas, and 4runners are sold before they are even delivered to the dealer. He said he's been selling cars for 25 years and he's never seen anything like it.

Decided to keep it and buy a 7.3 instead. Sell the wife's vehicle.
