I really liked my diamondback till I got a topper.
I’ll never not have a topper on a truck again.

I had an Undercover for 5 years. If mounted correctly rarely ever a leak.
I have been using it for 20 years on three different trucks. Never a leak.

Same here. I have a cheap utility trailer that i can use if i ever need more than 4' of height to haul something. Outside of a 4 wheeler, which i don't have, or getting bulk dirt/sand/mulch dumped into the back there are very few instances where the camper top is going to prevent you from putting something in the back of your truck.

Ive had different Undercovers on each of three trucks. Never a leak in 15 years.

I have a roll-up tonneau cover on my Tundra with velcro sides. Leakage is minimal and most of the time I make no allowances for it. I will, sometimes put something in a trash bag if necessary. It's 20 years old now and needs replacing, but it has served me well and probably paid for itself in gas savings for my thirsty Tundra.

Do the backflip style work ok with a 5th wheel?

I got a Bakflip cause everyone raved about it and I don't much care for it on the 2018 Raptor and think it's OK on the 1st Gen Tundra. I preferred the previous el cheapo light weight tri fold that I could pop on and off easily on my last truck.. With a tall truck bed side on the raptor I have a hard time getting enough leverage to flip up the last two sections from the side so I end up climbing into the bed to so the last section by myself. On my old Gen1 Tundra with a really short bed side it isn't an issue. Maybe just a 5'9" short king issue.

Same here. Im a young guy and was called a pawpaw by a few buddies until they went out west with me and all our stuff fit. Nothing got wet and froze into a big block of ice like in previous years. Ill never go without one again between hauling baseball gear to games/tournaments, hunting gear on road trips or family road trips its the best.
I got the roof rack and rod holders so i can take a pole everywhere we go. Currently on a IL, MN, and WI road trip. Day 1 and already walked a river in chicago before the family got up.
Get a topper with the top rack and leer locker. You wont regret it

I think they all leak
My wife wants to order me one so we can take the new truck on trips instead of her expedition... not sure why because my kids always have friends with them so the extra seating helps.... but I told her they all leak

Installed the diamond back switchback yesterday. Definitely the heaviest duty cover I’ve ever had and will be shocked if it leaks like my backflip did

And some temu ones showed up on Facebook. May order.

Realtruck owns just about every bed cover manufacturer now

Retrax leaks. I mean most of them leak somewhat. But I have the retrax and I make sure anything I don't want wet stays away from the sides and tailgate. They're fine when I do that. Golf clubs and a duffle basically live in my bed. But I have a non skid mat and make sure they stay where I want them.

I like my Lomax tri fold. It's really simple, comes off easy when I need it to, and doesn't block the back window when I fold it up or take up space in the bed.

BAKflip MX4
Bought it when I bought my Tundra in 2012.
Still have the truck.
I've had a little water close to the cab but I think it was due to not being sealed good enough. They sent new new seals free of charge.
I took the cover off recently to fix and a seal between the folding panels tore. Those seals are not replaceable.
I can't find the receipt so they offered me 50% off a new cover!

Happens to all of us.
get called a paw paw until they realize how nice it is, then the same idiot friends who were making fun of you start getting camper toppers too.
