My son wears a size 12 in waders but is a slimmer build. All size 12s that he tries on are huge in the upper body area. Any recs on slimmer fitting waders? Thanks!

The Rogers breathables (Elite, I think) that I bought recently, look like a damn clown suit. It makes no sense. Size 12 Regular and I could fit both legs in one.
Some brands/styles offer a slim option. That or spend $1k on Sitka...

Anyone have the Sitka? Not that I want to spend a G on a pair of waders, but the bulkiness of my Rogers aggravates the mess out of me. Plus I'm tired of having to take off everything I own while simultaneously trying not to pee myself.

fatten him up! He'll never be a "baw" without a gut. and his waders will never fit right.

My Godchild is built the same it sounds. The DU mudslide waders were the only pair that fit right.

Magellan Tredlite breathables. For the price I don't think you can beat them.
Plenty of inseam and not too bulky. I think they have a couple different inseam lengths for each boot size so check on that.

I don’t own any Sitka waders, but I own 2 pairs of Chêne waders. The Chêne waders are the best waders I have ever put on. I know people that have Chêne and Sitka waders, and they wear the Chêne waders instead of their Sitka waders.

frick buying 1500 dollar waders. You can catch the Magellan brands on sale for like 100 bucks and they last 3-4 year usually or longer depending how much you use them.

IMO. The Chene waders are great my buddy has them. But the sitka waders are gortex a proven material while Chene is nylon with DWR finish. both have warranties while Stikas has a service plan where you send the waders and have them serviced. they do a pressure test and replace the boots if they fail and repair up to something like 10 pin holes. I have hunted hard in my sitka waders for 5 years.

Rogers makes a Slim size. Way less material in chest and hips than a Regular size. I’m 5’ 9” 175 and get swallowed up by the Regulars.

I'm amazed someone hasn't started a custom fitting wader company in Louisiana.

Chene sizes them by boot and body size
