These look awesome! Especially Geronimo…I’m going to email them to see if they get a cancellation to let me know as they’re all booked for Sat.
Thanks for the rec!!
Onera looks awesome! Just not sure if kids are allowed as all accommodations seem to be for 2 people.

Yeah, I’d like to go that way, I just don’t know any exact places to book. I’ve always wanted to stay at Lucky Arrow retreat in dripping springs, but it’s sold out for next weekend.

Will check it out, but I’m thinking Marfa is a good bit further than 6 hours. Thanks though!

Glamping/Yurts - Texas?

Posted by The Donald on 10/12/25 at 1:29 pm
Looking to do something a little different with my crew next weekend. My wife and I are looking to take our kids to stay in a yurt or a glamping type place.
We live in central LA and are willing to drive up to 6 hours. Are there places you’d recommend in TX, MS, or AR?
Thanks!

What position will he play in Pro ball?

Can’t think of much besides corner OF.
Will look into it…thanks for the rec. I’ll also post a few places that I’ve found in my research.

This place looks unreal!! However, that flight looks BRUTAL! Out of DFW on a Sunday, arrive on Tuesday…ouch!
Thanks for the replies. Going to start looking into all of these today.
Looking to take a tropical trip next February for wedding anniversary. I’ve got TONS of Marriott points and titanium status. Would love to use some of these points, go to a beach place and all inclusive would be ideal…

Any suggestions? Does this even exist in the Marriott world?

Thanks!
I didn’t read all 11 pages.

My theory (which may or may not have been stated earlier) is that Aloy forgot Frey was on 1B. He thought only Curiel was on base and when he saw him flash in front of him going to 3rd he threw there for the easy tag out (based on how far Curiel was from the bag).

It’s the only thing I can think of for a player of that caliber to not throw that ball to 2B.

I could be wrong, but I think Frey’s last hit was 2 weeks ago vs Little Rock

that payout on a 20 dollar bet seems unbelievable to me

Agreed! Especially for the caliber of Burns. I’d also take that 12-1 cash out at Oakmont and call it a day!
