What part of Lafayette? I know Broussard, Youngsville and the New Iberia area have a good bit of water, same with some parts of Lafayette.

I live in Youngsville , next to Ernest Gallet / Rouses. KATC reported up to 10" of rain fell in certain areas as all roads in/out are closed with portions under water : Bonin, Chemin Metairie, Verot School Rd, Milton Hwy , etc....
I tried 3 times to get to work this am (Kaliste Saloom) and couldn't get through

Co workers just showed me a picture of coteau Rd and 182 at the Valero. At least a few feet of water.
I am on lower bayou blue road and wouldn't have thought it has been raining hard enough to put water there... Any pics?

Creamer and I are headed to his moms house on the Comite in Zachary. Waters coming up fast and we need to move some stuff. Any roads I need to avoid coming from BR?

I'm in Carencro and we've been spared the bad stuff for the most part. Lafayette, Broussard, Youngsville, and New Iberia got pounded hard this morning. Some areas did better than others. Lots of flooding. The Vermilion is flowing upstream.

Man I tried. I busted out the Hobie and pulled a kid down the street to get sand bags. But they had a baby in just a diaper running into the flood water, typical LP shite, you know. Little Bastard stole my thunder.
ETA: not under yet, I just wish it would stop raining.

We got 47 inches up here in NELA earlier this year, I feel for y'all. Know the escape routes and conditions as much as possible. Be careful...

Would it be bad to drive from Ellic to Johnston St. this afternoon?
