Is all ammo still being panic bought?

Just curious. I might have time to sling a few rounds today if I can find some anywhere.

shite. I haven't been to any stores in a week or so. Was hoping the people on here were the only ones still panicking.
I vote we get that thread wacked so people will chill out and downshift can go sling some rounds on his day off while he's cutting firewood

I have poked my head in a few stores in the last week. No really looking for ammo, but still checking supplies. I have seen a little .40 & .45, but no .22, 9mm or 5.56...

I had to run in the local Wally world on my way home yesterday. They only thing they had was .45. Guy working the counter said they get a few boxes of ammo here and there but still nowhere near what they were receiving before. They did have a case of .17hmr if anyone is looking for that.

My Aunt told me this weekend that shelves were full of assault ammo and out of .22 ammo.
I asked her what assault ammo was and she said uhhhh you tell me. So I did. No such thing as Assault Ammo. 223 and such can be fired from many different kinds of firearms.
Figures what she told me was something that was told to her. Probably something she read online mass email

The local stores and Cabela's have stayed pretty bare up here, did get lucky at my LGS and snagged a brick of 22LR and 50 rds of 9mm.

The panic has started to slow but tensions are still high. Things are slowly becoming available and prices have stabilized and/or started to drop.

I haven't been looking much for ammo, but did run across some 270 rounds and got 2 boxes the other day.I'm not in panic mode, but for now i'm not gonna be shooting my .45,.22, or .223 for a while just in case things get worse.

oleyeller can find it, alright. Hooked me up with 3800 rounds of 22lr yesterday.
