Browning A-Bolt .280

Brother in law just downed an 8 point chasing does.

I saw a monster 10-12 point standing next to I-55 on the way in last night. Rut has begun.

I’ve seen 3 does so far. Each one with a fawn. Makes my heart happy.

They are all living the cool weather. Does are running and jumping and babies playing feeling frisky

One of the best parts of hunting is watching.

Yes it is. The older I get the harder it is to pull the trigger.

A big boy stepped out to check it out but didn’t stay long. The rut is close

Shot a young boar and more are squealing all around me. Sounds like they are mourning the Arkansas football season.

Edge of pine thicket/hardwood transition.

Haven't hunted since September. Got lucky and killed a 167 inch 14 pt second week of season. Have a really nice 10 pt that's been coming in but he's been nocturnal, I've had one daylight pic of him all yr and that was in August. My patience worked, he came in yesterday at 4pm. Hope he does it again today.
