We have a camping percolator, but I gotta think this is a little easier and better. Just need some slightly different equipment.

Just me and the wife drink coffee.
I usually buy a 4 or 6 pack of what she likes (I like it black) and open the glass bottle and set it in a pot over a propane stove.
Like heating up a baby bottle.
Put them in a koozie and enjoy.

I love coffee, a lot, but when camping or hiking and have an early start, I just take a couple Excedrin with a bottle of water.
ETA: do this before fishing as well if I don't expect much time to clear things out before launching.

Man, when you're eating freeze dried supper every night and cliff bars every day any coffee at all is a luxury.

How are y'all making coffee when camping?
Percolator or French press/Jetboil

Same and same. Love it. I put the percolator on a coleman grill with a 1 lb propane tank.

I guess I'm going to get a decent percolator with as many recommendations as they've gotten. I think I spent 8 bucks on the Ozark Trail that I had, doesn't surprise me that it never worked right.

FYI: Real men of the woods generally don't sit around the hunting camp swapping coffee recipes. If there is only a 4 year-old bag of coffee and a bucket of rain water at the camp, I'm making coffee.

I like the Black Rifle Steep Bags better than the instant coffee. Just boil water and steep the bag for 5 or so minutes

Sometimes we make Percolator coffee, sometimes I make Cowboy Coffee ( Cowboy Kent Rollins style ) which is my new favorite. My dad however loves his Coleman coffee drip coffeemaker. Tastes similar to our Bunn at home

The cheap ones are hard to get right. You need really good heat control so it doesn't lift the lid on the can and overflow the grinds. The good ones latch shut so it can't overflow the grinds.

That's exactly what kept happening. The one in the pic AZbadgerfan posted looks just like the one I had.
