Why do you care what kind of shoes another man wears?

if you don't like wearing regular boots in the summer (or whenever), you should check out Ariat's Spot Hog. Its an ankle high pull on boot. Super comfortable, and looks good with jeans/long pants. IF you have to have a boot for work but don't like the tall uppers or a lace up style boot, these are for you. Just an FYI

Because I care about all of you

But seriously, where does this question come from?

I know they are a little over your budget but for another $100 or so you could order some Tecovas online. I've had high quality boots from several other big brands, but my Tecovas are the best hands down. Super comfortable, made well, and half the price of similar retail boots. Customer service is excellent as well.

Those are for hiking and camping when you have multiple water crossings or are getting in and out of a canoe.

Three pair and some of their boots, hippie shoes i call them. Back to square toes, bought my first pair 3 years ago and will never go back to traditional toe boots. I now have three pair of AB skins that i wear almost erryday. You can get the regular cow hide for double your budget with hybrid soles that wear well.

I like the keen steel toe boots, I have three pair depending on where I am going and the PPE requirements. I tried on a pair on their sandals, but there was no way I was going to be able to wear them in public.

Those of y’all questioning why someone would want to wear boots everyday or making the comment that you can’t wait to get them off your feet, must not have ever worn a properly fitted boot. And I’m not talking spending lots of money on custom, just getting a correctly sized boot that fits you well. Super comfortable, and with my job (and outside of it too) I have to go from an office/indoor environment to an outside/field one and its way easier to have something that works for both instead of worrying about changing.

OP, get you some ariats, leather for material and rubber for the soles. I don’t like they are made in China but I’m now on just my second pair since 2010 or so and I abuse them pretty good. I also have redwings that are more daily wear for work, but when I know I’ll working around the farm I’ll usually switch to the ariats, redwings could handle outside stuff but I’m trying to baby them a little bit and make them last longer.

Both are great and I’d recommend the redwings over the ariats for comfortability and where they are made, but $150 isn’t going to get you far looking at redwings.

I second this. My Ariats are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn

I wasn’t questioning someone wanting to wear boots everyday just cowboy boots in particular. But hell I’am all for wearing whatever you like. To me a cowboy boot has a leather smooth sole with a high heel. Makes it easier sliding into a stirrup with a heel that keeps you in it. Not really built for walking. But I understand everyone has their own opinion.

My wife says these Christian Louboutin‘s are really comfortable. Who am I to argue?
