He can still only take 6. I talked to him the other day.

I would personally take two boats with 10 people. Have a competition between the two. $550/person should cover everything. Assuming you dont ride around all day.

That's steep for 6 people. After cleaning and gratuity it could possibly be $1200-$1300/person

Expect to pay around $1000 as an additional charge for gas.

Then you have to tip the captain and deck hand. Maybe $100 each.

We paid this for four of us fishing for yellow fin tuna.

I think you need to ask your boys how many will be going and how much they are willing to spend.

For a 24 hour tuna trip with 6 people, be prepared to spend about $2500 base price. Then another $1000 for fuel, 15-20% gratuity & $0.25/lb to clean fish. That's roughly $700/person before you pay to have fish cleaned.

Seriously though, we went with him and Deep South and they're the tits. Caught both tuna and a marlin.

Yeah, I've spent the last hour reading through his website. I wish more sites were set up like his.

10 on a boat for tuna and marlin will be almost non existent in LA.

Mosy captains licenses are good for 6 people on a charter max. You will be better off taking 2 boats. I would leave at midnight and return the next evening. 16 hour trip.
