I want another Tundra--may wait on the 18--but I absolutely refuse to do business with Supreme Toyota in Hammond.

What says the board about who the best Toyota dealer?

I've dealt with Price Leblanc and Northshore Toyota, both tacomas.

Both times the truck was on the lot for less than 3 days. So I didn't have much leverage, but I was able to work them down.

Saying that Price Leblanc worked with us on price a lot better.

Join CostCo for $55, call Karen @ Toyota of Plano, tell her what you are looking for. Get your invoice emailed to you with Costco discount, set up day for purchase, drive to Dallas & save thousands.
Tell her Chris in Shreveport sent you.
Before you join Costco, ask her what the Costco discounted price is on the Tundra you are looking for. If you like the price then join Costco. If you don't frick it.
I bought a 17 Tundra crew max limited in February from her & im very happy that I saved 6k off sticker.

Bought my tundra and sienna from Price Leblanc. You are gonna get screwed anywhere you go on a vehicle. I just didn't feel as dirty leaving there.

I can probably guess you dealt with a finance guy there and now hate the place.

Email Fred Haas on I45 in Houston. They beat the nearest competitor by $2,900 on a $35,000 car. No. 1 Tundra dealer in the US.

I always had really good experiences with Team off O'Neal in BR, but that was almost 10 years ago. Covington wasn't too bad to work with either. A buddy at work was looking at a Tacoma at Slidell and said they were real shady, even for a car dealer.

I ultimately didn't buy my 4Runner from
Toyota of Brookhaven (MS) but the entire experience with them was extremely professional.

I would walk before dealing with those good for nothing, slimy, lying bastards at Toyota of Slidell.

Team has been doing my service and I like them enough. Best thing is to email everyone within a radius you like and see who is hungry.

Price Leblanc, hands down. Great online and service dept.

Team on O'Neal, lied to me 2 times about having a truck on the lot. I showed up within minutes of the phone/emails and no one had the slightest clue why I was told the info I was given.
I was also price comparing between them and price Leblanc. They had the color I wanted and PL had the price I wanted. Team's manager told me "no way, you're making that up" when I told him their price. I left and bought the Highlander at PL.

Poor Allstate salesmen just seem like they really don't know. Maybe a lack of training, but they're generally nice.

Walked out of Northshore Toyota. Finance guy claimed he was going to call his manager to ask him for part of a deal. We waited a few minutes, went to go find him to tell him never mind the whole thing was off, and when he saw us coming he quickly put the phone up to his ear because he was just chatting it up with the salesman.

We just bought our Sequoia from Allen Toyota in Gulfport. Negotiated everything online. Walked in, evaluated trade in and was out lickity split.

Would recommend and also agree Supreme in Hammond is atrocious

reading this thread doesn't makes you wonder why car dealerships get a bad rap.

LOL! You do know you could have got the same deal at your local dealer. I been in the retail side of the car business since 99, the majority of that time has been spent selling Toyota's and I know you want to be right, but you didn't have to go through Costco or drive to Dallas to get the deal you got.

I've bought 2 from Price; used the same salesman (now no longer there), both very easy deals.

That said, there's never a good deal no matter where you go, cars/trucks are a pit, best case is "you" feel like you did ok and that's all you can hope for.

I don't go there for much service, but when I do, they've been good.

Sorry you couldn't wait 5 minutes for a good deal.
