And why?

In for this. I’ll probably go buy one soon.

Sparrow. Quiet with subs on a bolt action RAR. Stupid quiet with CCI Quiet (750 fps).

This. I have nothing else to compare to, but I love mine.

Following. I only have a Silencerco Switchback but I would like to add another. I was intending to buy a dead air mask when I got mine but they were out and the guy talked me into the switchback. The only think I don't like, is the silver color. I would prefer black but it's fine. I think they make it in a black finish now, or I've seen pics but I got mine when it was silver only.

I don't think it matters which rimfire suppressor you get just buy one. Only thing to look for is to make sure the suppressor you buy is made to be taken apart for cleaning.
Determine how much you want to spend find a suppressor and start the wait.

I have 2
Surefire Ryder A. Do not buy any silencer with aluminum baffles.
Q El Camino - love this one. I’d buy another in a heartbeat.
One of the lightest out there.

Not to hijack….
I posted this last week, but I have $500 in gift cards to Silencer Co if anyone wants to pick up a sparrow, sparrow-ti, or switchback.
Ready to make a deal.

I have a Dead Air Mask.
CCI Quiets are staple gun quiet. It’s very easy to disassemble and pretty dummy proof to put back together.
Built very solid. No complaints.

And make sure it's rated for magnums.
Mine is only rated for 22lr and I wish I would have gotten a magnum rated can.

Have a Sparrow and a Mask, prefer the Mask without a doubt. Quieter, especially in regards to first round pop. The Sparrow has substantial first round pop. The Mask is easier to clean for me as well, because the Sparrow’s monocore won’t fit in my little tumbler.

My only .22lr can is a Mask. Super easy to clean and very quiet.

Dead Air Mask is hard to beat. Well-made, easy to disassemble/ assemble and clean, and so so damn quiet. Mine has been very impressive on any firearm. Like another poster said, on my Sig P322 or Ruger 22/45 with CCI Quiet its bb gun or staple gun quiet.

I have Dead Air Mask & would choose same if buying today.
As mentioned earlier - don't even consider one that doesn't have SS baffles.

Upvoted. I love my Oculus and it's made right here in SC. Great guys.

I did my research and got a Dead Air Mask, and am happy. Very quiet with 22LR standard velocity (subsonic) - quieter than an air rifle. It’s rated for magnums like 22WMR and 17HMR, it’s easy to clean, and the point of impact doesn’t shift when screwing it back onto the barrel after cleaning.

Anyone using the JK Armament cans? I love how modular they are and supposedly the way the baffles are designed produce a different tone that trick your ear into thinking it’s quieter when compared to other suppressors in the same dB range.
