No trees near enough to drop junk in the pool.

For anyone who has converted to Salt.... any regrets?

Seems like storing & dumping salt would be easier and cheaper than bleach / chlorine. Perhaps I should give it a few months of DIY before making a decision.

I don't know anyone with salt who regrets it but to be fair the sample size is small

On a separate note - do you find SWG significantly easier or lower cost vs chlorine?

I believe our system can be converted from Chlorine to SWG for $1k or so but haven't looked into this

Current vendor comes weekly and adds chemicals as needed - NO brushing, vacuming or empting skimmers etc. Chlorine pool w/ VSP. Paying $170/mo and they're typically here about 5 mins per week.

Not thrilled w/ results and considering DIY.

For those that DIY - what is typical monthly spend on chemicals for similar size pool? Already have a TF-PRO test kit and corded robot cleaner and I can certainly spare the 5 mins a week the vendor spends here.

Will check out trouble free pools for best places to buy chemicals but any recommendations apprecaited.

How much lemon / orange do you use for a sack of crawfish / 80 qt pot

Squeezing them I'd use a sack (dozen ish) lemons and 6 oranges. TBH I couldn't really taste them but kept doing it b/c they look nice

Blending I use 6 lemons and 4 oranges. Can definitely taste them.

Another "perk" is it's less trash to pickup / pick out after the boil
Couple "atypical" things I've tried and like:

-Blending the lemons and oranges, peels and all, vs just squeezing them. Very noticible flavor diffirence

-Fresh corn vs frozen. Tastes so much better.

-2 pot method. I was a skeptic but it's legit.

-High performance cooker. If you $ to burn these are F'n awesome and perform as advertised. I have the 120qt w/ the XL drain valve.

I’m interested in a pup, how can I get in touch with them?

Text Tracy: 985 - two two two - one six 88. I gave her a heads up you'd be in touch.

Stoked that a fellow Outdoor Boarder may have one of my boy's pups!

Correct answer.

Golden Retriever hair in my experience is much easier to clean than Lab or cat hair.... it tends to bunch up like a tumbleweed vs scattering everywhere like confetti.

That said, if they're inside/outside dogs like ours a self emptying Robovac is a must IMO.

Update - studded my boy a few weeks ago... pregnancy confirmed.

AKC Golden Retriever pups ready for homes early Feb. Mandeville area.

I'm not involved w/ pups but happy to put anyone interested in touch w/ the female's owner. Parents are prime specimens with fantastic temperments, per usual.

Anyone notice institutional holders of SLI went from 125, where it's hovered for 18+ months, to 143? Interesting

Seems conservative to me with production, revenue & hype that comes with it. It hit $12 when the company was FAR more speculative than it is today. Obviously lithium prices were higher then but since we've seen Koch investment, Govt grants, equinor investment, DFS completion etc.

$40 is my price target in 5 years.
Up .28 to $4.37 pre market…. Can’t find any news, perhaps simply momentum & fomo?

So… does Dad get the $1.15M reward $?

He should donate it to CK’s kids or similar good cause
I have Titan X3. Build like a tank. Highly recommend.

Agree. I started BJJ 3 yrs ago a week or two after running a sub 2 hr half marathon (first and only, not suggesting it's impressive) assuming I'd be decent....wong. I'm chimp strong and athletic.... got my arse kicked over and over again. 6 min rounds are an eternity without grappling skills/conditioning.

It's a blast mopping the floor with trial class "athletes", cops training b/c they should and aggressively overconfident types. The wind leaves their sails, quickly.

TLDR: Punchers chance doesn't really exist with grappling. Do a trial class or two and you'll understand. Lotta fun and great exercise.

Wouldn’t it take 910 pg/ml to = 9.1 NG/ml?

The report says 9.1 pg/ml for free T. Total T was measured in NG/ml

37, workout/BJJ couple days a week & decent diet. 5’10 190

Got concerning test results below.

Total Test: 639 NG/ML
Free Test: 9.1 PG/ML

Having another kid or 2 so TRT is likely out of question for 24 months.

Is Boron, diet & exercise my only option? I read all 33 pgs and my free T is MUCH lower than anyone else’s despite “normal” total T. Note this is pg/ml not NG/ml. 9.1 is ridiculous

Intrigued by your post … bought one yesterday. Super impressed, thanks
