Gotta think there's a reason modern military at the turn of the century issued bolt actions instead of lever actions.
Hard to fire a lever action from the prone position

Browning makes a 30-06 lever action. I don't know about the rest.
detachable box magazine fed, not the traditional tube fed, but yes they do make lever actions in multiple calibers

I'd love a Big Boy in 44 magnum. I would imagine it has some serious hog killing potential.

Nothing but will own one one day. Kinda like having a 1911, pretty obsolete with today's firearms but nice to own due to the history.

Comfort is their best attribute IMO.
They are good for people who stalk or have to walk a long way through thick shite because of the short length.
Magazine capacity is greater than most bolt actions.
Follow up shots are quicker and you don't have to take the gun out if firing position.
Like the 1911, they have the nostalgia and historical characteristics.
They use round nose bullets, so caliber options are limited and accuracy and range is not as great as can be achieved with some bolt actions.

I would stay away from them for the next few years. Apparently when Remington bought the the factory the old marlin employees sabotaged the equipment and Remington has been selling these rifles knowing that they are inferior and prone to failure.

Meh, they are just obsolete as a hunting tool. probably still fun to have. I love the action itself. Always have. Would not sell a .22 if given to me.
