I'm guessing the only reason there is a break is because it's a 20-minute period.
Yesterday there was no break for USA/Sweden but that was a 10-minute period.

If you want to do the 3-on-3 bullshite in the prelim rounds or even the beginning of the knockout rounds, fine. The Gold Medal round should not be 3-on-3.

Favors the USA because it is wide open and Canada can't collapse 5 bodies to the front of the net. We'll be able to gain possession and break things down into a 2 on 1 in open ice.
