That’s the most recent one you idiot. They said they didn’t believe the forecast path on Monday email.

I’d go with the most recent email, that was just posted is what they are going off of. Not one from Monday. Idiot

Yeah my clinic was supposed to be business as usual as of yesterday afternoon and now they're trying to get me to shut everything down by 12-1.

But in reality they simply posted the forecast and closed everything early

Closed everything? I heard they were just closing clinics at 12.

They either need to close everything at 12 or prepare employees and patients to be stuck there until 8ish.

Is is now safe to say that we should be fairly safe in the Prairieville area? All indications seem to keep most of the heavy stuff to the east.

I think Prairieville is supposed to get gusts in the 30-50 mph range.

Well we cant close the hospital

But they are doing this for travel purposes for those that work in non-clinic

quote:

We will pay up to 6 hours of regular pay for staff who choose to report early and will also pay up to 6 hours of regular pay for staff who choose to remain on campus after their shift until they feel comfortable traveling.

As of now you can get to you shift 6 hours early and still get paid and stay 6 hours after your shift and still get paid

That seems to me, like a hell of a deal and it keeps you safe. But what do I know

Just left the camp in Dulac. Wind is still minimal, but rain is starting to pick up. Most of the weekend warriors are prepped and gone while a few locals are just drinking beer on the porch swing
