There’s ways to skip the ads . Oddly enough a YouTube vid showed up and it showed me exactly how to stop ads.

Can I watch a football game on it?

One of the things I do is watch college and pro game recaps. I might watch the ~15min recaps on 7-8 games I don't have time to watch but still interested in seeing the highlights.

I watch a lot of Youtube but it doesn't replace a lot of other services for me.

I’ve got 3 rentals in Hot Springs plus my house on Lake Claiborne. I’ve got a YouTubeTV account that provides service to all 4. And damn good content. You can’t beat the price. I wish I had done it sooner. The only problem is I have limited internet on Lake Claiborne, but if I go over it’s usually only 20-30 dollars extra.

Content and content creator, two words that I wish would go away but instead have become more prevalent.

That said what’s the the deal on iptv? Also if you have Apple TV do you get fubo tv for free?

Agreed. I subscribe to YouTube Premium and it's by far and away better than anything on television.

95% of what I watch is YT, the other 5% is one of these apps or DVDs.

I don’t know how, but it seems legal. There are multiple IPTV app’s which are downloadable at the Samsung and fire stick app stores. They have humans that answer phones at their help desk. Granted… I think the version I use is out of Turkey.

Want to know the funny part? My Cox installer is who told me about it.

Yes there is a live guide. Yes it is mostly HD. Yes the picture is great. I e not found a DVR system. Occasionally it freezes up (like buffering) and I have to switch the channel and switch it back, but not enough to be a problem. You do need really good WiFi/internet.

I’ll stick to my cult and murder shows on Netflix.

Do you just watch the same ones over & over again? I can watch every crime show they have in a month then have to wait 3 months for them to add anything new.

YouTube has tons of true crime content creators who upload weekly. They are very well done and cover many cases you’ve never heard of. Not to mention network shows also upload there (48 hours, Mayday) many times before the season is available on Netflix or Prime.

TiVimate is what you’re looking for if you want DVR capability. I paid for the premium, $10/yr, and it’s great.

No thanks. I'll keep my $10/month IPTV service.

They just introduced it, so give it some time.

Arrow DOWN gives you the last couple of channels

If you're using the Google Chromecast, there's an app available to customize the button functions on it.

ex. There's the YouTube Button, I've configured mine so a double click of the factory YT button opens YouTube TV and a single click opens YouTube.

The factory Netflix button opens Netflix on a single and Max on a double.
