I would take the kids. No way I would want them separated. It's bad enough they have dipshit parents, maybe they should see that the rest of their family cares about them.

Are you responsible enough to provide for them financially and emotionally? If yes, take them in. If no, figure out a way to do it and take them in.

Take them in. Those kids didn't choose to have assholes as parents.

Nope, you take them in, and if necessary you adopt them.
You dont get to pick your family. You can let some go, but kids need that stability.

Most kids in foster care are sexually abused or face extreme violence in the system or foster homes.
