Not to hijack the thread's theme, but does it seem that social services is too quick on the trigger? Brawling, loud drunkards are by no means ideal parents, but if the kids are going to be inserted into an even more difficult circumstance what good does taking them away serve?
What if there was no Uncle to consider taking them in?
Cynic might note it serves to increase the number of "clients" in the social services system.
That kind of BS will haunt us all as a society.
Back to the OP: Prayers, man. This isn't the kids or your fault; I hope you can find a way to pull it off. If you take this on, thanks in advance for all the work you are going to invest in giving the rest of 4 who had a chance.

Are you Latino? My observation is that the little brown ones are generally well behaved and don’t require a lot of maintenance.
