Rodriguez initially sued Cabrera in August 2017, claiming she and their children were left hanging after Cabrera’s wife discovered their affair and argued that because Cabrera made $30 million a year she was entitled to at least $100,000 monthly under Florida’s rules for child support, the newspaper reported.

His last contract was for almost $250 million total and $30 million a year. 20k a month is .067% of his monthly salary. I'm sure most guys paying child support would kill to pay that much. At 50k a year that's like 30 bucks a month.

Fathering 2 children all while cheating on his wife? Cabrera will be worth over $400 million after his time is up in MLB. Paying $20K per month in child support and paying off a $1mill mansion, life insurance policies ect, ect ect, the dude is getting off relatively easy.

I have no problem with this. I wish there was some sort of way that you can ensure that the money isn't used to make the mistresses' life amazing just because she slept with a star. He has no duty to support her specifically. But it's just fricked up to have kids that you treat differently. He should support his kids as much as he supports his other kids. Sounds like he was kind of doing that, at least for a while.

You must understand, the kids are afforded the same lifestyle at the mothers home, as they have at the fathers.....to achieve that, it takes money for the mother to give the life to the kids.
