He should just write her a 3.6 mil dollar check, a check for the costs of all the other items (vacations and disney passes, etc) and be done with it. That way it is not hanging over his head in the event he is injured and looses a chunk of that contract.

Don't want to pay?

Don't screw women whom arent your wife.

Period.

No outrage. Good for her getting what she can.

Totally not surprising this is happening to Cabrera. Probably has more kids starting to pop up.

I guess this makes up for the kids being the bastard children of a ball player, and a whorebag. smh.

If I were rich. I’d be fixed. When I wanted a baby it would then be done in-vitro

Doesn't Mick Jagger pay like $120k a month or something? Maybe it was Keith Richards. Not sure.

I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand I'm glad he's paying for it instead of the state. On the other, 20K a month?

i dont give a rats arse how rich the guy is, child support should be just that, just the amount it takes to cover child care and not based on how much money the guy has

That's less than 1% of his annual salary to support two of his kids. What is so unreasonable?
Because it probably won't be going to support his kids. It'll be going towards a lavish lifestyle for their mother.

Plus, it's all the other shite too that makes it kind of crazy.

Well if the mother spends it on herself I'm sure his lawyers will seek the involvement of the Court. He had kids and now he has to support them.

The fact that the money will mostly be used by the mother who probably won’t have to work for the rest of her life.

His last contract was for almost $250 million total and $30 million a year. 20k a month is .067% of his monthly salary. I'm sure most guys paying child support would kill to pay that much. At 50k a year that's like 30 bucks a month.

I was about to do the math before seeing this post. He has nothing to cry about here. I had to pay 25% of my salary and they calculated it based on gross and not after taxes so that percentage was actually higher based on my take home pay. I ain't shedding a tear for his rich arse.

His lawyers won't know. I was ordered to pay alot so I tried to get my kid's mom to place some of it in a college savings plan. The judge in my case told me I couldn't dictate how she chose to spend the money. Just bend over and take it basically. Judges really don't give a damn about non-custodial men.
