If I was a big time athlete, I would freeze some sperm and get a vasectomy. In the off chance later in life I wanted kids with my wife I would have the means to do so, but screw all these women who think they are entitled to a lavish lifestyle because they spread their legs for a living. He is also equally at fault for screwing around on his wife

Less than 1% of his gross income will go to child support at $20,000 a month. With the extras --- the vacations, etc --- it might creep up over 1%. Even if you assume paying off the house at $1,000,000 and add in $300,000 that year for child support and vacations you are still under 5% of gross income for the year he pays off the house, assuming he does it in a lump sum.

Most guys paying child support pay a much, much higher percentage of gross income as child support.

If I win the lottery the first thing I'm buying is a vasectomy.

What the hell kind of child takes 20k/month to support?

I expect that his mistake was making that payment willingly in the first place. He screwed himself

You mean he will have earned over $400 mil? I doubt he is worth $300 mil now, or anywhere even close to it.

Most ball players especially ones dumb enough to have 2 kids with a mistress are not exactly good with money. Its likely he has spent a large portion of his earnings.

He can certainly afford this, but $250,000 a year still stings pretty hard for a guy like him.

After the government steals their portion is all that matters. Why base your spending on Gross?

I don’t see the problem with this one. The illegitimate children are entitled to the same lifestyle as the legitimate ones

He is making 30 million a year prior to taxes. After all said and done he could pay the entirety(18 years) off in one year and still have millions left on one year of contract pay, after taxes

Life insurance policies on kids is dumb. Watch these kids mysteriously disappear in the future.

pretty common pots and pan ploy, probably slipped under the rug, I'm sure sidepiece is the beneficiary which is another travesty because if a kid dies, expenses go down

We have gone over this

The child gets roughly enough money to where he/she gets to live the same lifesyle as it would if the father was raising them like he should

i dont give a rats arse how rich the guy is, child support should be just that, just the amount it takes to cover child care and not based on how much money the guy has
So the child lives a basic life, while the shithead "father" pumping them out lives a life or riches?

Let the dad spend the money on the child. Why does the mom need access to it?

I would like to see this happen too

She shouldnt have access, but she will still need to be given the nice house etc etc to raise the kids in

But I would be fine with it flowing through and being setup by the father

That's what I'm saying. That way that money doesn't get used in ways that aren't for the kids.

Yeh I am in full agreement with you. I just dont agree with people that think the kids should literally only get basic support only

the overwhelming majority of that money will go to the "lifestyle" desired by sidepiece
