Bryce Harper has a brother?

Was 3rd or 4th string O-line at JC. Not a position that does a lot of hard head on collisions.
Not to side track the thread but the research actually suggests that lineman are more at risk due to the frequent small hits every day compared to a WR that gets his clock cleaned once or twice a season.

How the hell did he ever end up on an SEC football roster?
I am left wondering the same. Does he or his family “know someone”?

When I google his name and football I get the USA profile, which is removed, but on the google search page it has this under it.

Yeah, in the trenches they are getting knocked in the head all the time. It isn't anything violent, but recurring. And everyone is different. Some people can play, take a lot of headshots and not have CTE. In some people it doesn't take much.

Seriously. I know he played football at John Curtis, then a year at MSU then transferred to Southeastern.
I'd be surprised if he was subjected to the amount of head trauma needed for this to be an issue.

The school is just a few metal buildings.. I am sure it became a Christian school for certain benefits... But it was opened up for one reason.
The school was founded on the second floor of a Baptist church and Curtis Sr. was a very religious man, so I don't see your point.
JT, who took over the football team in 1969, played college ball and is the man who turned JCCS into the athletic powerhouse it is today. His dad's aim for the school was much different from what it's evolved into.

I did not go to Curtis but I know people who did and I grew up in Metry. This has always been my view of the school.
I do think Old Man Curtis did focus on the "Christian" aspect of the school, but that has gone away over the years.

JT Curtis carries on a very strong religious persona. I don’t see the problem with ultra competitiveness matched with that.
I get that it rubs many people wrong. Most don’t understand it.
FWIW I have no affiliation with Curtis.

wondered the same thing. Was a mediocre starter at Curtis his senior season, rode the bench most of his career.

and he rode the bench until his senior season... granted everyone usually gets in the game at some point back then, when they were blowing out 2A opponents. Anyone who is on varsity gets a letter and everyone is qualified for varsity at Curtis, there are no tryouts.

The trademark WWL lisp comes through even in written form.

My sister and her husband live nearby John Curtis. I always thought it was funny how the gym & field are bigger than the entire school campus.
Posted on 6/20/19 at 9:07 pm to GoIrish02
The enrollment does not require a huge campus.
