Why are people still getting tested?

FWIW... my workplace tests everyone weekly

so for the last 2+ months I've had a q-tip jammed up my nose once a week (in fact I just did it again 15 minutes ago)

so far... all negative for me (knock on wood)

524 cases out of 17,423 tests today. 3% positive.

We're doomed!

Going back to phase ta-two? This shite will never end.
Or he will say say numbers, compliment himself/the state on it's vaccine rollout, and announce the date that everyone 16+ will be eligible for taking the vaccine.

Total Cases: 442,221
Less Deaths: 10,056
Less Recovered: 429,935
Active Cases: 2,230

That's less than 50 active cases per 100,000 LA residents. Of those 50, 9 of them are in the hospital.

I don't think these numbers are correct. The "recovered" stat is effective 3/22 so you need to use the cases # on that date, as well as the deaths.

When you do it makes the Active Cases total to be 1,101.

WWL Radio reporting uptick in La covid cases

Them wording it like this is completely disingenuous.

The percent positivity on Monday was 3.24% with 1334 positive tests out of 41,142 total tests. Monday's numbers include Saturday and Sunday as well.

Tuesday was 3.33% with 709 positive out of 21,235 tests.

Today was 3.00% with 524 positive out of 17,423 total tests.

The ONLY slight "uptick" in any of the numbers has been hospitalizations and vent usage. Since Friday we are up a WHOPPING 14 hospitalizations from 399 to 413, and a STAGGERING 7 patients on vents from 68 to 75. frick this shite, we need to open up.

Why do you keep lying about this when the state publishes how many available beds there are daily?

Not lying at all

Hospitalizations are in a manageable situation right now.
