Haven't they (CDC) also reported that the vaccine can cause a false positive in a test?

Ms and Tx’s numbers continue to fall and/or remain low after removing restrictions. I would like to see JBE or his “experts” explain why that is the case in neighboring states but we are still “concerned” in the middle.

WWL Radio reporting uptick in La covid cases,
I think you have a hearing problem. They never said this. WWL-TV said they had an increase in ventilators from the Govenor.
Other than that, there was a CBS NEWS report about covid cases being up in states that did not include Louisiana.

You should be grateful and you unwashed masses should count yourself lucky to be this well cared for. JBE

Also, what typically happens when a person estimates their income for a year to receive a subsidy, when you file your taxes, you have to pay the difference or get a refund. In other words, if you overestimate your income, you receive a refund on portions of what you’ve paid to include any subsidy that you should qualified for. If you underestimate your income however, you have to pay back the subsidy that you didn’t qualify for, potentially a ton of money. Now, you won’t have to pay the difference. If you’ve already filed your taxes this year, the fed will refund you a check.
Do you have a link for this?

I mean one of the states is Ms. If it wasn’t for them we would be last in all health related statistics.
Gov Tater Tot got a lot of grief in his election cycle but he has been a rock star imo handling the virus.

So, if you refused the COVID vaccine, I would say you are not fully] vaccinated.
You saw the necessity of getting your parents vaccinated (assuming they're local and you visit them), but refused the vaccine yourself? That's fricked up logic. Getting the vaccine is only 95% effective, so 1 out of 20 can still get it. You, being young and healthy, can still contract the disease and be asymptomatic, meaning you could potentially spread it to your parents. The good news is that they will probably only contract a mild to moderate case, and not have to be hospitalized.
I could go on about how you will eventually benefit as we reach herd immunity, without taking the time or having the inconvenience of being vaccinated, but you wouldn't care. Everything is about you.

In addition to allergies, any hospital procedure requires a negative test. I'm kind of surprised they are not testing every visitor.
St Tammany requires a COVID test seven days before a procedure. It stupid and practically useless. I could test negative and still contract COVID after the test, but before the procedure. Maybe it has something to do with when you're infected versus when you're contagious. I dont know.
I do know that the test results are available in 24 to 48 hours, so 3 or 4 days sounds more reasonable to me.

this backwards arse state? Prolly not. Two people at my entire workplace are getting vaccinated, no one else is.
You stupid, ignorant count. The vaccines don’t prevent infection. We could have a 150% vaccination rate of the population and we’re still gonna have infections.
And this slimy cock sucker and his ilk will manipulate and report stats that make his authoritarian behavior seem rationalized regardless of the truthfulness or legitimacy of those stats.
And ignorant fools like you will lap it up like kittens over a bowl of milk.

Yes.
It's my health.
It's my responsibility.
If I'm responsible for other's health, I better get started slapping fried chicken outta people's hands.
Am I justified in dragging people to the gym?
My body my choice.

Wrong.

It doesn't mean 5% of vaccinated people get infected.

One common misunderstanding is that 95% efficacy means that in the Pfizer clinical trial, 5% of vaccinated people got COVID. But that's not true; the actual percentage of vaccinated people in the Pfizer (and Moderna) trials who got COVID-19 was about a hundred times less than that: 0.04%.
If you're going to be a condescending prick while being a covid karen, at least get educated.

Couple other points now that I’ve fully hijacked this thread. Businesses with more than 20 employees will be forced to upfront pay for their employees Cobra at a zero premium if the employee chooses it. The fed will credit it on their tax return. You know how fricking expensive that is?
So 2 things
The COBRA thing is only for no fault terminations (i.e. layoffs). If they quit or are fired for cause, no COBRA payment is required.
Now, if it's a no fault termination and the company is less than 20 people, the insurance company has to float the bill.

Studies are actually coming out showing Pfizer prevents asymptomatic spread... Haven't been peer reviewed yet, but everyone should be happy with that news.

This is a half truth....studies show that the mRNA vaccines do have some positive effect on transmission we just can't really quantify it yet with the relatively small amount of data.
However, why does that even matter if most people get vaccinated? It doesn't.
