I don't know if a ransomware attack would lead to a twitter account hack, or if the ransomware hackers even care about twitter accounts. I still think this was/is someone with regular access to the account.
this will become very convenient... whether it's the cause or not

he did his show last night but i read that he's taking tonite off. can't say i blame him...until he knows whether it was one of his colleagues who did that or not

The guy's been in radio for two decades, I suspect he's got thicker skin than that. My guess is mgmt probably asked him to chill b/c of the "controversy".
Everyone on here keeps saying "it's his employer!!!", but obviously it was someone (a person) who either worked there or had access to the account, so it was very probably a singular individual.
ETA: It was clearly not endorsed by his employer, IDK why people are thinking that.
ETA: Just heard it was his choice, per Twitter.

I still to this day don’t get how Spud was taken off. He and his show was perfect for the 1-4 slot. Were his ratings that low?
