They do that to discourage to go orders because their business model is very different from most places. They don’t have the kitchen resources to handle a huge volume of outside orders.

My son wanted Waffle House, there is one close by, and I like the texas toast bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with cheese and onion hash browns. (It’s all I had to eat today)
Let’s all be honest, it’s not bad and a Southern thing. Hence, the reason there are all over the South. But paying 7 bucks for privilege of eating at Waffle House seems like crazy shite.

I just don't understand how we got here. How we are so pampered we'd actually pay money for take out food from a place like Waffle House. The only reason to ever patronize that place is if you are out drinking and you need to chill out a little.
You can literally create anything on their menu w minimal effort at home, why in the hell would you pay for it?
