If everyone is getting a new truck, when do used prices go down since trucks have been the best selling vehicles for the last 5 years?

My 2008 GMC will need replaced eventually.

Never as long as people are willing to pay them.

Not gonna lie. My sister just got the new Ram and it's pretty nasty. The interior the screen is utterly insane how big it is.

I'm happy with my 2014 F150 that is still running just fine. Once my Tranny goes I'll upgrade to something new. Probably going 18-19 year range. I'm not a stickler for brand to be honest. I'll take the best deal on a good truck between Ford, Ram, or Chevy. Not a fan of Tundra's nor Titans though.

why are trucks getting so huge though? even a tacoma now is bigger than a tundra circa 2005

Because that's what Americans want.

Yea - I don’t think it’s the intention in the slightest.

As these become more common though, and urban centers simultaneously try to become more bike friendly, I do foresee some issues sharing the road as a valid discussion... but I’m not talking banning anything, just reminding people to use common sense with their choices

Uhoh. He cracked the case. The Ford, Ram, and GM execs are hitting the panic alarms and arranging a meeting. Clousseau has them all on conspiracy to murder.

Was literally the first selling pitch my salesman gave me for my 2500.

“Man you won’t even feel a family of 5 if you run them over.”

Hey, the WSJ has stood firmly against the cancel culture. The WSJ is responsible for saving that Princeton professor the Marxists wanted to cancel. I subscribed to the WSJ last week right after I went online to order Goya Foods!

Not really into trucks, which I will rent if necessary, but that's just braindead.

I got a full size truck with a wrap around solid steel grille bolted to the frame for just this purpose.

The center of my wimch bumper is 3/8 plate.

Everything else is 3/16.

Maybe it’s the pedestrians who Aren’t designed to play in the highway with speeding hunks of metal fueled by a rumbling engine

Sweet. I just bought a GMC 4x4 and didn’t know it had a “kill pedestrian” feature.

Figured it had to be hyperbole, then I checked the guy's Twitter. Wow. What an embarrassment.
