So you don't expect the division of the State Police that handles this, to handle this because it's a dumb law?

I mean, how often do you blame the waitress because the restaurant's prices are too high?

Can someone tell me why this is illegal?

They weren’t paying their protection money.

I mean from everything I see it wasn’t violent, no one was being forced, no one was being hurt.

The city can give 5 million to a pedo thugs worthless family, so I guess that means they have to crack down on some little piss ant poker game.

I don't know about any of you fellas but I will sleep comfortably tonight knowing these animals are locked up for a game that impacted my life in zero fashion. Big brother knows what is good for us whether we like it or not.

My dad use to run the pulltabs at Bingos for the Carnival Club he was in. The State boys stayed on them. He had to keep very meticulous records. I know 1 lady that got arrested for some simple mistake, she was the Bingo chairperson for another organization. They ended up losing their license for a period. At the time before casinos and video crack became legal in LA it wasn't uncommon for them to make $7500-$10,000 on a Monday night Bingo game, $20-30k for a Super Bingo.

I saw a friend of mine post on Facebook about this place. He actually posted the names of card games they were playing on a certain night. I assumed it was legal because I don't know shite about gambling and the laws.

Wayne the poker dealer at Lauberge? I guess he was just trying to scratch out a living while the poker room remains shut down

This is what happens when you run a game and don't pay the proper tribute the boss, Don Broome, demands.

This would only be illegal if they were taking in a rake.

Based on Hat Tricks post, they were. this isnt some card game for money at someones home. They were running a casino.

Looks like this is a little bit more than a monday night poker game among friends.

We should have no limits on gambling.
