According to John Adams, that's a talent

Having Holmes 'talent' would be a downgrade for me, so Jordan

Considering I post on tOT, and a prerequisite is at least 10.5 inches, I'd go with Jordan.

But then again, I am already a physical specimen who dominates my local parks and rec leagues, maybe it'd be cool to be able to sing and live at a theme park.

Jordan

Athletic pay plus endorsement pay plus having a defined season vs constant touring.

Jordan retired almost 20 years ago and still makes $80M-100M or more a year in endorsement

Its more than endorsement money. He owns his own brand that is backed by Nike. His logo alone is worth $10s of millions.

Him and Denny Hamlin are half owners of a NASCAR team that just won a big race.

No telling what else he is invested in.

I just googled 'What endorsements does Michael Jordan have?' because I wasn't sure if he still had anything and this is the response from google.

quote:

Michael Jordan earned a majority of his current wealth from endorsements. In over four decades, he's earned $1.7 billion (pre-tax) off the court from brands like Nike, Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Wheaties, Chevrolet, etc, and is still involved with brands such as Nike, Hanes, Gatorade, and Upper Deck.

I think I'd prefer the Michael Jackson talent (again, minus the creepiness and abusive father)

Main reason being is that while Jordan was obviously extremely talented, it wasn't his talent but his drive and work ethic that made him who he is.

Jackson was just pure talent. He obviously worked pretty hard as well but it definitely came easier to him than Jordan.

Music. Having talent in music can mean a longer career than athletics. Plus if you write hit songs you get royalties and as you age you can still get 20,000 to see you sing at 45 while very, very few athletes are as good at 45.

The thing about John Holmes is that later in his career he had trouble getting and keeping wood and even in is prime there are scenes where he's just barely able to keep it stiff enough. The problem with a big wiener is that you need more blood and just plain desire whereas a guy with an average or small wiener doesn't.

From what I recall his dad pushed him and his siblings HARD from a young age. Obviously talented, but also worked like a mule.

Michael Jackson owned the rights to all of the Beatles' music... he outbid Paul McCartney for them. He'd still be making millions off of that alone, before getting to his own music.

He no longer owned the rights before he died, so he wouldn't be making money anymore. I believe he turned them over to Sony as part of some debt arrangement.

My favorite part of that story is that people thought it was unfair of MJ to "do that to" McCartney. But McCartney turned down a chance to buy the catalog because it was too expensive. But it wasn't too expensive for MJ.

As for the question, I think it would be a lot cooler to be MJ, and he's easily one of the GOAT entertainers of all time (and one of the richest). But being a sports fan (and basketball fan), it would be Jordan for me.

I always said that the two most worldwide famous people of my lifetime were Jackson and Jordan (since Elvis was before my time).

Jordan, cause with that kind of money and fame women will flock to you regardless of the size of your unit.

Jackson, minus you know, the kid diddling.

music talent rakes in cash. charisma leads to all around acceptance, leads to more influence and power.
