How many years would you spend sitting at a table for hours at a time signing your name over and over and over again to then watch people make a massive profit on selling what you signed?

I don’t think I would pay anything for an autograph of any living person. It would be interesting to have some writings from historical figures, but anyone present day? Not for me.

$200 potential profit on an item is massive profit?
If that were the case, why would Mark not just crank out autographed items and sell them on eBay himself instead of traveling around to Cons? Seems like it would be much easier if there is that high of a demand on eBay.

I would love to meet and chat with Mark Hamill as he seems like an incredibly nice guy. I dont give a shite about his politics. That isnt what i would want to talk with him about. He was the iconic figure of my youth and his performance as Luke brought me great joy and still does. That said I wpuld never pay money for a picture and autograph.

God no, used to think he was cool growing up, Luke Skywalker, rabble , rabble, rabble.
Well it turned out he was a talentless jerk off.

Hamill is the luckiest bad actor ever.

I wouldn't walk across the street for one if he was giving them out for free.

If Napoleon, Caesar, Lincoln, and Elvis all rose from the dead and showed up at this Comic Con, I would not pay $400 for their autographs.
I would enjoy a casual conversation with Mark Hamil in an everyday setting, but I don’t care about his autograph.

Him and Kevin Conroy were a hall of fame level team.
Scruffy wouldn’t pay $400 for a signed photo though.
That is ridiculous.

Rather spend my $400 putting my dick in a fatty than spend it on something stupid like this.

how much for him to sign a pic of Trump......
lets see where his principles end and his greed begins.....

Fans Debate Mark Hamill's $400-$700 Comic-Con Autograph Prices
The sign lists $400 for an 8x10 photo, $500 for premium items, and $700 for bulky ones, drawing quips like 'putting the con in comic-con' from critics who call it extortion from the Star Wars star. Defenders note eBay resales hit $200-$600 and that cons are work for actors like Hamill, with agents setting fair market prices amid the thrill of meeting Luke Skywalker. This echoes backlash from last summer's Fan Expo, where the same rates upset fans, even as Hamill's net worth tops $18 million from his long career.
Fans aren't complaining too much seeing as almost every online site offering services or the signing has sold out.
From a collectors standpoint, it's a much smarter investment spending a little over 1k and buying a Topps pack inserted autograph. 8x10, sports stars included, carry a pretty low resale value compared to cards, baseballs, etc.

He played the replicator in criminal minds. He’s a pretty good villain tbh

I’ve always thought autographs were sort of stupid. Even as a kid.
I was into baseball cards and my dad took us to the Senior Bowl meet the players thing 3 or 4 years in a row when we were kids (shoutout Peerless Price. Such a scumbag), so I was into it for a little while.
But yeah, once I got to my teen years, I was like wait, why is this cool. Can't imagine a grown man giving a shite enough to stand in line, fight a crowd, and even pay for an autograph. Seems insane now.

You aren't the only one.
He did a bit on Kimmel's show recently where he asked passers-by to take a pic of him next to his star on Hollywood Boulevard, and nobody paid attention to him or recognized him.

The only autograph I would ask for or pay for, and it’s stupid, is pat swilling.
I have all of the other dome patrol signed cards and a blank swilling. Once I get it signed, I want to frame them into one piece and stick it in my office.
I feel dumb asking for a dude’s signature unless it’s on a check, but this is a piece of my childhood, and I’d like to have it in my office.

There was a time when society viewed actors as being only one step above being a prostitute. We should go back to that view.

Does “Bulky” mean he’ll allow you to get a chubby and pretend to sword fight?
