scrolling through FB during the commercial break and I saw this on a local job posting board

quote:

Hello! It's your friendly neighborhood tutor friend! My name is [removed] and I do tutoring for elementary ($8), middle school ($9), and ACT Prep ($10). I do not have a car so I will be tutoring at the public library in Sulphur. I am a senior at [edited] High with a 3.7 GPA and a 22 Composite on the ACT on my first attempt (the timed test thing really threw me off). My specialty is English, math, science and psychology. As of now my only days I'll be unavailable are Tuesday's. I look forward to working with you and doing my absolute best to not only lead your child to the answer but also show them how the answer was achieved so they can utilize that skill in future lessons.

i mean i admire the hustle but goddamn, a 22? i scored a 20 in 7th grade.

and i'm not a complete psycho so i didn't troll her, b/c she's a senior in high school. so instead i post it here

if your son is 5 stars, you don't have to pay for that

Holy inflated GPA. I would've picked up a wrench if I had a 22 going into senior year.

Eh, some people are shite test takers. Doesn't mean they can't make good tutors.

I'll put money on this thread becoming an "I scored this on the ACT" pissing match.

I would never trust someone who couldn't score high on a test to tutor me to score high on a test.

A 3.7 in Louisiana is a 2.0 in most states

It's absolutely means that. If you're a shite test taker, how are you going to help me take that test?

She should stick to prepping to get a higher ACT. She'd make more money by getting a 27 to get scholarships and TOPS
