Don’t believe so.
I was in college during the social media age and knew what I wanted to do.
So wasn’t very active on FB (and deleted it a few months before graduation) and made sure to never get caught in a picture where it seemed questionable (underage drinking etc)
Was basically scared shitless by superiors that told me Firm XYZ wouldn’t hire me if they saw I was a shithead on Social Media (especially since I was already handicapped with having a degree from South Carolina)

I’ve seen what happens now too at my firm and other firms on the street. HR scrubs those things big time. Just for behavioral reasons.

Yep. I posted on Facebook back when only college kids could post on it. Lots of use of the words fig, homo, and bitch

just imagine if TD all of a sudden became the most popular website on the internet and all of our usernames became our real names

Chicken wouldn't be able to handle the amount of people wanting to scrub all their posts

thats kinda what it was like for us that were on FB in the early days

shite just blew up on us

I've had a FB account since 2004. There is almost assuredly something dumb that I posted a long time ago that would probably get me "cancelled" in some way.

I would be hung in the streets if my group chats were released to the public

A lot of mutually-assured destruction out there.

I know two fairly visible people in TV news that I could ruin.

I wouldn't, of course, but the power...

I'm in a group chat with my old college roommates and one of them was always an annoying SJW-type, but obviously has gotten worse in recent times. I've stopped texting it all together. We started a new group chat without him to discuss politics

I once commented that the Green Lantern movie really wasn't that bad, compared Trump to Teddy Roosevelt and twice called Texas A&M the faggies. Now its 3 times.
So yeah. I'm toast.

I wouldn't know what to do. DENY DENY DENY. I guess I'd just hope for the best knowing I'm gonna be fricked.

To answer OP other than this all I have is FB. I'm civil service so I've never been allowed to post anything political and never have chanced posting anything controversial.

Yes. Absolutely. Although I'm usually pretty good about scrubbing crap under my real name, you got forums like this (not so concerned about fake name shite though), and I have an old deadjournal that 3 people know of that I lost access to. The "most damaging" shite on there is friends view only though (hence the 3 people) even if someone stumbled on it with a deep web crawl.

On Twitter I retweet dumb shite and tornado pics. I have a Facebook from like '09 or so where I replied "In" to a party invite. That was my only post. I do have an old Myspace page, but it is full of song lyrics that I'm sure had some deep meaning to me then and a few bad, artsy photos I took.

Now, my post history here may be an issue.

I have no doubt made an off color joke or two on here or on FB... if someone wanted to dig deep enough.

I don't think this site keeps post history all the way back, though.
