If someone had it out for you and thoroughly reviewed your social media (or post history), would you get canceled? I imagine people are scrubbing their accounts these days.

Yes. Absolutely.

I've had a FB account since 2004. There is almost assuredly something dumb that I posted a long time ago that would probably get me "cancelled" in some way.

I haven't posted anything political or social in over a decade though.

But those early years...? When none of use knew that FB would become the behemoth it is today? Yeah, I'd probably be fricked.

Not me. My business is with private clients and everyone involved has signed NDAs.

I'm sure someone...somewhere...can use the internet to organize an angry mob because of something I've posted in the past 10-15 years. I've made a lot of Nick Saban jokes over the years.

Are we talking about those fancy platforms that the kids use (like Myface or Spacebook).....or are you speculating that somehow we'd get exposed on Reddit or Tigerdroppings?

If the OT ever got hacked, 90% of the board would be cancelled.

Zuck's "On This Day" is basically an opportunity for us to scrub some stupid shite we wrote years ago. Best feature on FB by far

A cancellation attempt was made on Domino's for saying thanks to a compliment about pizza eight years ago. So if that's the baseline, I'd venture to say 99% of people could be canceled for something or another.

Yes, by today's standards absolutely. If for some reason I got famous enough for it to matter, I wouldn't apologize because I don't think I did anything wrong.

For sure. High school days and early college days I was wreckless as hell on Twitter. I had zero filter. I haven't used Twitter since 2013, but there's no telling what you could find on there.

Are you Mark Zuckerberg?

I’m sure someone could dig up something hilarious I’ve said on Facebook that could be used against me.

Facebook has a daily "memories" feature which shows you everything that happened on that same day X years ago. I've had some cringe ones from when I was like 18 come up, but nothing cancel-worthy so far.

I've was always pretty left leaning in that regard, even if my fiscal/business related views have changed as I've gotten older.

Nope.

Though I feel much more secure in that because FB wasn't open to anyone other than college students when I was in HS and I scrubbed my FB from college before I applied to law school. I don't remember anything that was problematic, but still
