I don’t. I just don’t think they should stick there tongues in other people’s mouths who don’t want them there.

i mean, how will you know unless you try? Do you ask "hey can i stick my tongue in your mouth?"? Get it in writing? record the conversation?

Generations of non creeps have been navigating this territory successfully. It isn’t that hard. Maybe a little slower approach to allow the rejection before you are touching tongue to tonsil would be a better approach without having to get a notarized consent form.

It’s not nearly as impossible as you pretend to keep your tongue out of someone else’s mouth that doesn’t want it there.

It would appear that Ive been sexually assaulted a few times in college bars almost 30 years ago

I am having feelings about this that are just now bubbling to the surface and now feel as though i may need some time away from my job to work through them

thank you for understanding

If it was a Republican, she would not have held back who it was, and completely outed him.

For all we know, it could be Joe Biden.

Abedin said she buried the incident in her memory until allegations of attempted sexual assault emerged against then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in the fall of 2018.

She might have been able to sell this bullshite story if she had just left this part out. She got greedy.

Working for the wife of a sexual predator? No trigger.

not sure about a gay guy, but if you don't let a trans guy kiss you, you're a homophobe. they're women.

No guy is getting close enough for that to happen.

I've gone in for a kiss before and got rejected without even making contact. It's not that difficult to pull back. Why did she not react?

Also, is this really that traumatic? Someone kissed you that you didn't want to kiss? Christ, get over it.

Have they though?

Kissing women without any sign of consent only to have them shove a man away has been a trope in entertainment for decades until recently. And it was largely in a non-offensive context, even where it was a genuine rejection. It wasn't deemed problematic in any serious moral sense.

To be clear, I'm not advocating we go back to this. I just think "going for it" was socially acceptable for years and years before we decided it was now pseudo-criminal. Not all modern progress on sex is lefty nonsense, the shift from this is how it should be (within reason).

But, I do think when dealing with aged claims it's pretty relevant that the social/entertainment/etc. discourse from when those incidents occurred was likely very different. The reality is that our culture refuses to split hairs on things like this anymore, which ends up creating a stupid environment. If someone thought you were into them 20 years ago and tried to kiss you because they liked you, that's not immoral. If someone did the same thing and they were married and you were young and worked for them and they thought they could use you and discard you, different story.

But we're a society of overgrown children who are nonetheless really loud and convinced of ourselves, so those distinctions aren't possible.
