Would you define this as sexual assault

Huma Abedin says in her new memoir that she was once sexually assaulted by a US senator — and was so shaken afterward that she ended up apologizing to him.
quote:
I ended up walking out with one of the senators, and soon we stopped in front of his building and he invited me in for coffee," Abedin writes. "Once inside, he told me to make myself comfortable on the couch.
quote:
The senator then took off his blazer and rolled up his sleeves as he made coffee and chatted with her, she said.
Then he "plopped down to my right, put his left arm around my shoulder, and kissed me, pushing his tongue into my mouth, pressing me back on the sofa," she said.
"I was so utterly shocked, I pushed him away," Abedin writes. "All I wanted was for the last 10 seconds to be erased."
quote:
After the senator apologized and told Abedin he had "misread" her, he asked if she wanted to stay, she said.
"Then I said something only the twentysomething version of me would have come up with – ‘I am so sorry’ – and walked out, trying to appear as nonchalant as possible," Abedin writes.

I call this making your move and getting rejected not sexual assault.

You know how I know this was a Democrat Senator?

Was it the part where it happened over a decade ago, or the part where the Senator is not named?

She's probably talking about her husband, Anthony Weiner

Ol baw probably would've sealed the deal if he didn't start out with tongue like a maniac

Sounds like sexual battery. Seems the senator went in pretty cold with his move.

I wonder how she reacted when Hillary slipped her the tongue for the first time.

Not assault. Had he made his move and been shot down, yet continued with the advances, maybe it's assault.

I don't know the legal definition of "sexual assault," but that's definitely not okay to do that to someone that doesn't want it to be done, no?

Of course it's not. It was a democrat.

I mean, it seems pretty obvious that if a male invites a female back to their home after dinner/a party that they are wanting to do sexual things. Its not like he whipped his dick out, or grabbed her tits or anything. He went for a kiss, and she declined, and he stopped, and she left.
And I don't believe that this woman, who was married to such a sick frick for so long, suffered any real psychological damage from this incident.

It’s definitely not ok to stick your tongue in someone’s mouth that doesn’t want it there. I don’t think a single instance of improper behavior as described should be prosecuted, but it’s clearly not appropriate.
To maybe help you see it… Assume a gay guy or transgendered person misread your signals and did the same. Is that ok?

ole baw went in a little too aggressive. i mean if he stopped after she said no.
wonder how many times i would have been arrested in high school if this is assault?

I thought the same thing when I read this article. If that’s the case then I’ve been sexually assaulted numerous times.

Why do you hate the gay and trans community?
