Would you be OK with changing Christmas to a certain day of the week, like Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving seems to work beautifully every year falling on a Thursday.
It gives most people at least a 4 day weekend.
Whereas, Christmas falls on varying days and often regular workers can get a little screwed.
Such as this year, it falls on a Wednesday, causing many to have to go to work the day after, limiting some people's full day of celebration.
So, I'd like to propose that Christmas be held on the fourth Friday of December every year.
That way , we could create another 4 day weekend with Christmas eve and Christmas day off followed by the weekend.

Nope.
Besides, Christmas mid week means I get to either frick off Monday and Thursday/friday, or not go in at all. That means 9 or 10 days off.
