If you are ranked at all in this sham of a field, you should be removed from all ranking lists.

Get a degree from one of those and the debt will be paid down quickly though.

After #100 or so, does it even matter or can you take the rankings that serious?

LSU tops Tulane who comes in at 601-700.
Also beats Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss, Arkansas

In this case, sure.

Spinoff: Daughter of someone in Monroe we do business with graduated from Wesleyan last year. Wants to go to law school. Could probably get into a top ten school if she wanted to, but decides she wants to come back to the South. So...UVA? Emory? UT-Austin? Even LSU? Nope, she enrolled last week at the University of Alabama school of law. WTF?

There are many kids in Louisiana that are going to undergrad school at Alabama,

It is the damnest thing I have seen. There is a sophomore in Monroe that has already lit up the ACT and Bama will be the school.

World rankings are almost always based on research expenditure and # of citations credited to the university. Tulane, I think, has shifted from a high-output research university to a SJW liberal arts college. Or it seems like they want to. It's a shame because they have the potential to be much more.

I have a high school senior... we get stuff weekly from Alabama in the mail since the beginning of summer. We got our first piece of mail from LSU this week... WTF????

Thankfully the senior throws the Alabama shite in the garbage.

If this is the list I'm thinking of, the criteria is absolutely stupid and shouldn't be used by anyone wanting to seriously consider the quality of universities.
