Unfortunately, it took me a while to realize that women who have studied these fields are bat shite crazy.

Aside from the 'this major is useless unless you become a teacher'.... my theory is that women who have studied these fields have major issues of their own that they try to rationalize by taking out massive amounts of debt in attempt to draw out their emotions in a scatter plot graph and tell you that it is because of 'XYZ.'

Maybe the Germans said this 70 years ago and I missed it...

ETA: maybe it's blondes...

They want to figure themselves out, that's the reason they are attracted to it in the first place.

its simpler then that, they take those courses as an excuse to justify being bat shite crazy and rationalize it as being normal based on complicated convoluted contortions of misrepresented truths

Sociology attracts people with radical social and political positions. It's like a Marxism factory.

My wife (no pics) is a year from being a clinical psychologist, and I can tell you that they're all feminists (shocked.) Most of them aren't bat shite crazy, as you implied. She wants to help people, and I find it admirable.

She also wants to make some money

Not saying mental health is a joke and the job isn't admirable - I'll admit there was a broad stroke application in my statement. Not sure of the percentage of psychology/sociology graduates who practice vs. end up in other fields, either. I'd be willing to bet that the skin head broad preaching emotions vs. facts to the MAGA hat people was one of those majors - or anthropology.

I'm going out on a limb and suggesting that this is true for many women in many areas of study, including those involved in no areas of study such as waitresses, flight attendants, strippers, hookers, stay at home moms and teachers.

Psychology/Sociology

Maybe similar but not nearly the same. Sociology is absolutely worthless as a degree. It basically qualifies you to teach other ugly liberal feminists sociology. frick dem

Sure but can’t you also say the same about men in these fields. A lot of them have serious issues.

Here I present to you a some of the finest the LSU Sociology Department has to offer:

And then you also have this, more than likely rocking a full bush, unshaven legs and armpits, and does not use deodorant:

This is a fricking asinine post. All female psychologists are batshit crazy? Brilliant analysis.

She'd likely make more money being a legal secretary.

I know several women who are clinical and school psychologists who are neither crazy or over the top femenists. I have no reason to think they were attracted to the field to figure themselves out or something like that. They also make pretty good money.

As for Sociology, the field has really re-invented itself somewhat. Depending on the path within the field you go down, but if you search social science research analytics you will find plenty of jobs that pay over $100k. IBM’s SPSS was one of the first data analytics software programs out there and it was developed for sociology students. Statistics and data analytics pays pretty well.

I've been around a couple that took a semester or two of those classes, and of course that qualifies them to analyze everybody around them with 100% accuracy.

So where does she stand on gender? Does she think it’s perfectly normal for a guy with a penis to identify as a woman or does she think “he” is in need of psychological help?
