I was on a flight from EWR to SFO with a female captain. No way she should have been captaining that plane based on the handling of plane on take-off and descent as well as her communications.

That said, I’m sure there are some very very capable female pilots.

Would you get on a plane with a female pilot?

I sure as hell wouldn’t.

Considering there is a woman pilot flying in the Blue Angles, I'd call you a fricking pussy to your face.

Airlines are obsessed with DEI so no, I’m not thrilled about women pilots bc I can’t be sure they weren’t pushed through based on their gender. I won’t cancel my flight or anything but you know a white male pilot, esp a younger one, had to earn it.

In a foreign country sure. I’ve flown a bunch in Latin America and Avianca especially has some badass female pilots. In America? Nope!

I got on a flight a few weeks ago with an older white dude pilot and a younger black woman co-pilot and he nodded it kinda told me it was gonna be alright and he was forced into this situation.

She had a triple crown princess weave and her pants pulled up to her tits.
If she was paired with another one like her, no way. Peace out.

That’s what we call a unicorn (black female pilot). I’ve been flying with the airlines for about 9 years and I’ve seen 2 unicorns. One was actually a captain.

When I was a younger pilot, I really didn’t like female pilots, mostly because of hiring preferences. I saw female pilots with the same experience as me get interviews with major airlines while they threw my resume in the trash.

But I’ve flown with numerous female captains and a few first officers now that I’m a captain, and they’re mostly very good pilots.

One poster mentioned something about women not being able to handle stressful situations well and that kinda concerns me. All the flying I’ve done with female pilots has been normal flights with no problems or emergencies.

I have a friend who’s a captain also and he was telling me about an emergency he had with a female first officer. I can’t recall what the emergency was, but he said she froze and was absolutely of no help during the emergency. He was basically doing everything by himself. After he took care of the problem he asked her what the hell happened to her and why she froze and she started crying. When they got to the gate, she started really sobbing and saying, “We could have died! We could have died!” He wrote her up and she had to go get additional training. Don’t know if she was allowed or wanted to fly again.

Nothing but this (and I don't know pilot lingo), but more hours, fewer incidents, good rates on emergency management tests, I don't give a shite if you're a Martian dwarf. But that's what is most important.

F me, should she ever fly again? LOL. She failed spectacularly.

I think I've had the most female pilots of Lufthansa or LOT, but it's still tracking under 10% I'd guess. But the pilots don't cause turbulence, they just warn you, or don't. For sure different on crews from different continents.

Woke aviation should be grounded immediately. It's not if, but when it brings a plane down. You can't just DEI your way to full staffing in things like aviation.

I know a female pilot that flies for southwest. She earned her wings in the Air Force. I'd trust her to be my Pilot.

PS. Your're an idiot.

I know pilots Male, Female, White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, and in-between who are all capable competent pilots I had no trouble working with and would absolutely trust thier ability as a pilot with my life. I have even controlled a black female NASA pilot in a T-38 and there was zero doubt she was that good. The issue is lowering standards for people who have no buisness in a cockpit to be there for the sake of an airline to say we are diverse while passing over white guys who are qualified. While I believe it is a problem I think it is a little exaggerated I do however see the danger this poses. It really is unfair to those who are legit ,because people will wonder if they see a woman or a minority flying are they really qualified or just a diversity hire. That should never be a thought when it comes to safety in aviation. As I said though I know plenty of female pilots, have flown with them, and many are very good.

Also if this were your pilot would you get on?

I flew on an American Eagle shuttle from Dallas to Waco and had the first seat and could see into the cockpit before we took off. Both Pilot and Copilot were fairly young females. The Stewardess noticed me looking and said don't worry they fly better than they drive a car. It was one of the smoothest flights I had on that shuttle.

There is a high probability that the air force pushed her through training because she had a vagina even if she was shitty in the cockpit and there's a 100% probability that her resume got moved to the top of the stack because she has a vagina.
