I don't have kids so I'm not sure what's right, but my mom used to bring us boys into the women's bathroom when we were younger. Should she have brought us into the men's?

in my 40 years of age and as a frequent road warrior i have managed to never see another man's dick in a gas station bathroom.
all of your rules are valid.
i have 0 problem with dad's that have very young daughters coming into the dude's bathroom and we should all know how to act. I've seen it happen for decades without incident.
that being said, i'm not taking my daughters in the women's restroom, even if it's empty.
i am not above using a one holer dedicated women's bathroom if the one holer men's is taken up for longer than 5 minutes.

The latter situation appears to be what was happening in this video. There did not seem to be stalls for multiple people.

it's not. QTs do not have one holers.
Circle K is the only one that I consistently find one holers in.
I drive about 30k miles a year. so i know things.

The mad dude can clearly see why the guy is in the women's bathroom. It very obvious he is a father with little girls and felt this was the best choice. He announced himself, women coming would understand the second they saw his little girls. No need for the man to stand in a doorway and cause a scene.
The only way I would take my daughter into a women's bathroom is if the men's bathroom was disgusting.

What if you're in a stall? Then can you only talk to people in another stall?
Only if you are already acquainted with that peraon. A random stranger? Hell no.

#4 - No chatter. Don't talk the guy next to you
I always turn to the guy next to me and say, “Sir, what you’re doing there is highly illegal - a grown man holding a little boy’s penis.”

Since I've commented on some tweets about this, my whole timeline has become this story. I'm really shocked at how women think every mens room is a child rape dungeon. It's really incredible this is how little they think of men in general.
In reality, every man has seen thousands of kids in a mens public bathroom over their lifetime & never seen an issue. No rape. No trauma. No indecent exposure. It's perfectly normal.

The rule is you can talk to anybody on the same level as you. If you’re in a line you can speak to line people. If you’re at a urinal you speak to urinal people (or nobody). If you’re at the sink, same thing. But you don’t stand at the urinal and talk to someone at the sink. That’s just blasphemy.
I mean, I'm the opposite I guess. I don't talk to people in the bathroom at all usually. But if a coworker or something is at the urinal next to me, no way in hell we're talking. once one of us is done and washing hands, then it's more likely someone goes "you see that email come in?"

Youre correct about the rules.
Also, pertaining to the video.
I have a daughter who is about to be 8. she is old enough to go on her own now, and i will wait by the door.
When she was younger, I often took her in the men's room. I made sure to be careful where i took her, made sure other men knew she was there, to avoid language and actions that a decent man would not use in front of a little girl.
Never once had a problem with other men acting inappropriately. Granted I was taking her to the bathroom in a Gas station or supermarket... not a bar.
if for some reason the men's room was unacceptable, I would ask a woman to check that the women's room was empty before I entered, or yell from the door, "Hello, I'm a man, about to bring my 3 year old to potty... anyone in here?".
Never once was it an issue....

#2 - No eye contact. You look straight ahead at the wall or at your own dick. One or the other. Again, violation of this rule is grounds for termination.
This is just natural. I don't remember looking at dicks even when we all peed in troughs at recess.

On a long enough timeline, common sense always wins.

As a girl dad this makes me irrationally angry. I would have beat that douche's arse then give his bald arse a swirlie for good measure.
The narrator in the video is funny.
