Woman who never got tested receives postie COVID test results from CVS

Well, that's not a good look, considering they report those results directly to state health departments.

My father was recently in the hospital for a cardiac issue. They put him in the Covid unit and kept testing him for it. He kept coming back negative but they kept giving him tests. I think they tested him four or five times. It was obvious they wanted him to be positive so they could keep him in that unit for which they are receiving special funding. We finally made enough noise that they transferred him to a normal unit where we were allowed to visit him

Mixing up samples and not conducting test....sounds like something Theranos would do.

If it gets reported as a unique test, I assume the numbers wouldn’t be messed up just because the name was.
With so many people being asymptomatic or got sick and stayed home without getting a test, our “confirmed cases” number is just that: confirmed cases. The real number is way higher.
And that’s a good thing because it means the already low death rate is in reality much lower.

I'm not so sure. The redundancy that exists in the medical field makes this almost impossible...especially when the person didn't even show up for the test.
I could MAYBE see (although it would still be unlikely) a result being mixed up between patients.
