My wife told me about this tragedy and I told her not to mention it again because it broke my heart. We took the kids to our camp this morning and she broke down in the truck on the way there. We had a great day as a family checking deer stands, fishing, and swimming. When we got home, I sat outside with my 5 year old girl in my arms for as long as she would let me. I also laid in bed with my 3 year old boy.
Like others have said, this tragedy hurts differently than most. As a parent, I’ll continuously pray I never have to go through something like this
